Loving God  |  Loving Our Community

Covenant Community Church began in 2987 as a Bible-based community partnered with the Reformed Church in America (rca.org). We are on a journey of continual growth that binds us TOGETHER and we are working toward our vision of loving God and loving our community. The good news of Jesus is the fuel for our love and worship, and so you will notice that our worship is inspiring and heart-felt. You will also find depth, friendships, maturity, and mission through our children and student ministries.

We focus on warm hospitality and mission that extends into our communities of Hudsonville and throughout Georgetown Township. One connecting point is the relationships that we enjoy with students and families through Alward Elementary school.

TOGETHER we continually learn more about the joy of naturally sharing what we experience through Jesus. You are invited to join our journey with God who graciously calls us to him and wonderfully deserves our love and obedience.

Covenant Leadership Team

Our leadership and staff work TOGETHER to love, care, and pray for our church family and friends. You are invited to contact us at any time with questions and/or prayer requests.

Jamie DeVries - Pastor

Born and raised in West Michigan, I'm no stranger to how our culture approaches church and pastors. The goal is to be different than the average pastor while creating deep relationships. Partnering with the awesome folks at Covenant Community Church, we hope to inspire a culture outside the norm.

After spending my early career in business, I felt like God wanted more from me and at forty-one I graduated seminary and started this ministry journey. Age and experience inform my perspective as a preacher and counselor and as a person in community with others. Relationships are vital to how we understand faith, life, and what God wants for us.

Music was my first love and I've spend the last fifteen years leading worship and playing in bands. I also love to cook and entertain. If you need someone to talk to, jam with, or eat with, then I'm your guy! Oh yeah, and students, I love hanging out with students. Six years in youth ministry has taught me a lot about teenagers and parents and video games!

When you visit Covenant, come say hi, so we can get to know one another. God has amazing plans for us and I'd love to hear about your experience of that. There's a mission for us and our church, one that God has put in place: to love people! Come join us in that mission!

Kathy Keizer - Admin Assistant

I have been married to my best friend, Gary, for forty-eight years. We have two sons, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. I have experience working with the public including school bus driver (retired after 27 years), and Administrative Assistant at another church. Volunteering is in my blood; I served on the elementary school PTO's when our boys were growing up, and I've held several positions on the Local, District, and State levels as a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary (American Veterans) over the course of forty-eight years. I was volunteering here at Covenant before I was even a member. I truly enjoy this work and being able to help others inside and outside of the church.
